Our Rights under the 2nd Amendment

These words are very clear, and yet Congress, over the years, has done just that in the name of safety for the public.

National Firearms Act of 1934

Gun Control Act of 1968

Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986

Although the last one sounds like it helps the owners of firearms, but it outlaws manufacturers of full automatic firearms after 1986, which just makes existing firearms that more expensive.

Although I know that it will take more than just one Senator to reverse these laws, it has to start with someone, and I would love it to be the one that starts the change. I will work one step at a time, first to take sound suppressors of the NFA list, force the BATFE to restore the definitions of the regulations to the way it was, and restore bump stocks to being legal to own again...

So long as a person is a law abiding CITIZEN of the UNITED STATES, then they should not have any restrictions on what they can buy or own.
